Paige is the full time Resident Advocate for The Blossom House, the residential facility of Restore Corps. She manages the activities that happen at the house, such as cleaning and chores, meal planning and grocery shopping, gardening, conflict management and community living strategies, and plans fun and productive activities. She also plays the role of a spiritual mentor when the girls are open to discuss their spirituality. Her favorite part about working with Restore Corps is being able to tell these women they are worth it, they are beautiful, they are new, when the world has told them the opposite. She says the most rewarding part of her job is when you are assisting individuals as close as she is, living with them, you see the SMALL ways that they are growing. This helps maintain hope through all the chaos. She describes Restore Corps as an organization inspired by the gospel of Jesus, which is that we have not loved God and he has loved us, we have not chosen God but he has chosen us, we have not sought God but he has sought us. Oftentimes these women are longing for help, but don't trust anyone enough to receive it. They are traumatized and therefore angry. We are a team who seeks to push through the way we get treated to offer emotional, physical, and spiritual assistance to those who have been unjustly treated. We seek to be the hands of God to offer healing to women who have been abused. We don't force our beliefs onto the population we work with, but we do everything we can to express them through our lives. We are not perfect, we are indeed ordinary women, but we have ALL offered our lives for the benefit of the victims of sex trafficking by providing food, by providing shelter, by access to the doctor, by trips to the hospital. by hours and hours of listening to their emotions, by providing transportation to therapies of many kinds, by connecting them to local business owners that they can get real jobs with good people, by forgiving time and time again when we are yelled at, talked about, and sometimes approached physically. When not working, she does lunch and dinner with friends, she LOVES FOOD, specifically Indian food! She also loves Indian people and internationals in general. She has a lot of International friends. Paige loves walking on trails and talking on the phone to friends. She reads and prays every day. A random fact about Paige is that she spent two years in North India and speaks a language called Nepali.
