Residential Care Manager
Claressa started as a part-time resident advocate, enjoying spending time with the ladies during the week and on weekends, usually in the evening assisting them with daily tasks, meetings, and planning. She assists the ladies with ensuring their needs are being met through the program by providing the team with insight on concerns the ladies have discussed with her and other staff members. She now leads the Residential Team as the Residential Care Manager. Her favorite part about working with Restore Corps is being able to be a part of a team that works collectively on helping the survivors become their most authentic versions of themselves. She says the most rewarding part of her job is being able to see the survivors accomplish the goals that they’ve set for themselves. Claressa describes Restore Corps as an organization that is dedicated to the empowerment of the survivors by ensuring that the ladies are equipped with the tools, resources, and knowledge to thrive in their community. Restore Corps also advocates for women that are within the program and outside ensuring the individuals are knowledgeable about human trafficking and what resources are available. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking, exercising, and journaling. One random fun fact about Claressa is that she enjoys traveling... A LOT!
