Whitney Maxey-Trotter, R.N., R.D.
Mrs. Whitney Nichole Maxey-Trotter is a graduate of University of Tennessee at Martin, where she received a full athletic scholarship to play basketball. After graduation, Mrs. Maxey-Trotter completed her Master’s of Science in Clinical Nutrition with an emphasis of HIV/AIDS at the University of Memphis. While completing her Master’s, Mrs. Trotter worked as a graduate assistant in St. Jude Children's hospital HIV clinic. She now works as a Registered Nurse at LeBonheur Emergency Department and Registered Dietitian at the Transformation Center - a trauma and eating disorder outpatient clinic.
Mrs. Maxey-Trotter serves as committee member for St. Jude's Children's Connect to Protect program working on domestic and sexual violence initiatives. In addition, Mrs. Maxey-Trotter is a member of the Shelby County Sexual Assault Response Team. Mrs. Maxey-Trotter has been with Restore Corps for the last two years and is currently working to develop the international victim response protocol for human trafficking in Memphis.
