Janna served at Briarcrest, White Station, Ridgeway, and Kingsbury High Schools during her years on staff. While on Young Life staff, in 2009, she started the YoungLives program which specifically ministers to teen moms and their children. Janna has recently transitioned to stay at home and raise their 3 daughters.
Jonathan, who goes by his last name Torres, has been involved in inner city ministry for the last 8 years. Torres started his ministry career with Young Life in 2007 and became the Director of Urban Ministry in 2010. In 2014 Torres transitioned to serve with Memphis Athletic Ministries (MAM), an organization that uses sports as an avenue to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with kids ages 8-18. Torres’ role at MAM is to help the community of Memphis get engaged in the inner city and realize the city’s full potential in growing its next generation.
